Fork Oil Change - The EZ Way
#14
Yeah, I should do that. It's really not hard. Remove the Schrader valve, unscrew the drain, let drain, (a tad bit of compressed air down the stem will speed that up), put the hose on the stem, hose on the suction device, hose jammed into the hole in the fork, suction on, pull up all the 7.75 oz fluid you carefully measured in momma's measuring cup (DON'T TELL MOMMA), leaving the suction running, put the drain screw back in, vacuum off, Schrader valve back in, add 30 PSI (my bike, check your manual for yours.)

damnit! Just read this post. I just yanked off all that crap air ride stuff off my front end and put different fork spring caps on when I putt progressive springs in my front end. Rides way better. My 1987 Electra needed the leg lift. Anyways now I gotta take outer fairing off to take the caps off every time. Next time I change form oil imma gonna put the old fork caps back on. Than I’m gonna plumb a custom line with the nipple mounted by passing light switch
