Question Little Help Removing Kick/Jiffy Stand

Hey guys, time for a new kickstand for my 1997 Dyna Wide Glide, and I am a little confused about how it comes off.

When I had the bike on my floor jack, and I looked at it it seemed to me (referencing the attached parts diagram) I would need to remove the bolt marked part 6. Is this correct? Reading around the forums has me confused now.

Also, if bolt 6 is correct what is the best way to get at it? It seems pretty buried in there behind the frame.

TIA!

Shouldn't be difficult with the bike up on a jack. I've surfed all over and can't find a vid or any pics, sorry. But...

Remove that #6 bolt and the tab that locks in the kick stand. Then push the stand forward to remove the spring. Put the new one on in reverse order. 10 minute job. G'luck.

For some reason I'm thinking a 5/16 inch thick by about 4 inches long pin with cotter pins on the ends needs to come out also? It goes into part #36 Sorry, it's been couple years since I took mine apart. I think the pin comes out so 36 can come out/pivot for removal after the bolt is removed. YD
