Default Will larger wheels fit Dyna?

I have a 97 Dyna superglide convertible and I have been looking at putting new wheels on it. Found fat spoke rims on eBay but they are for 2000 and up. I take it I need to replace the bearings, run newer rotors and possibly a different pulley.

However, the sizes are 18x3.5 for rear and 21x2.15 for the front. Will those fit my bike. I currently have 16” and 19” wheels.

you can always run a lower profile tire in back. might need a new front fender or raise your current one up some. you can get adapters to run in those 1" bearings to fit a 3/4" axle...but I'd be worried about the quality of the bearings if they're the lower priced wheels.

Leave the stock wheels on it. The wheel bearings are much better quality than 2000 up wheels.

I have a 2004 rear softail wheel and 2010 SG front in my 1990 Glide. Yes the wheels you mention can be made to fit, but they will not simply bolt in. You would be better off, if you want a simple life, finding pre-2000 wheels with the tapered roller bearings.

They are a direct bolt on with the 3/4-25mm sleeves or reducers. I had the same set on my 98 Dyna.

You will possibly need different wheel spacers
