Default Can't find trans drain plug

I have a 1996 heritage softail (FLSTN) and am unable to locate the trans drain.

According to research it should be between the shocks but this is all I have found. Is the button top the drain? Doesn't look like anything I've found in research.

That is for Dynas, FXR's and Baggers...not a softail.
If you look at the right side cover you will find it at the bottom in the center.
It's much easier to access if you take of any pipes in the way but you can do it without removing the pipes it's just a PITA.

There's a good reason why we recommend getting the FSM! You can also check a parts website, Transmission Housing #5.
