Brembo Rear Caliper on FXR

Brembo Rear Caliper on FXR
Has anyone installed a touring brembo rear caliper on an FXR? Does anyone make a caliper mount bracket for this? I've been researching this with no luck. I'm about start cobbing my own bracket together if there isn't one avaiable. The 08 up touring bikes have an 11.8 rotor so the rear factory bracket is out, unless an 08 up rotor will bolt onto a 1990 fxr rear wheel?
Any input would be great!

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. I have front and rear Brembos on my 1990 Glide, but did quite a few other mods along the way. I changed my swingarm for a later one, along with a later wheel and caliper. Since then I've adapted a Brembo caliper, which also required an extra spacer. Almost everything I used was secondhand take-offs, so were relatively cheap.
One of the reasons for using a later Touring swingarm is that the swingarm was inclined to fracture around the wheel axle, so it became a popular upgrade. I believe there are now new replacements available for Evos including your FXR ones as well. One of those will allow you to install later hardware including a Brembo caliper. Custom Cycle Engineering make a kit so you can adapt a later Touring s/a to your bike, which is an alternative starting point!
