Refitting Exhaust on S&S V111
I’m getting ready to bump up my ‘97 fxdl and I’m not sure on what to do. One option is to just throw in a new engine, an S&S V111 being one of my options, I’m just afraid that my Bassani 2 into 1 won’t fit. Any one do a swap out and have problems with the exhaust, I believe the cases are a little wider than stock.

If the 111 had different geometry on it's exhaust ports then only certain exhaust would fit and as far as I know you can bolt whatever exhaust to the S&S motors that you want to.

I've never used a Bassani, but am confident it will work for your new project!

You’re gonna like them, I went from supertrapps 2 into 2 on my worked Evo to the Bassani 2 into 1, I was very impressed, the only regret is that I didn’t do it earlier. Let us know how you like them, I’d be interested to know.

Sold my JBL L7 speakers today for $800 so that covered the $700 for the RR. Had the L7 for 25 yrs and still got $800.
Maybe have the Bassani on the WG next wk.
