Default How Many Miles in 2017

I hate to say, in 2017 I only rode my bike, (1996 Ultra Classic), 450 miles.
I got so busy getting ready to retire, that I didn't ride. The first year I had this bike, 2013, I rode 8700 miles. I have to fix that in 2018.....

I only commute to work on my bike. That's 32 miles round trip. Generally, I ride from April to the end of October, weather permitting.

Until I retire (again), I don't see many big mile trips in my future.

I don't really keep track but I do know I'll be out at least once a week and just about every Sunday... I would say at least 4500 miles. had 2 trips over 600 miles this year...

Not all that many miles this year either. Our big holiday was overseas back in Spring, which was enough travelling in 5 weeks to leave us happy to be back home! Looking at another long overseas trip next Summer, which may have a similar effect, but investigating a bike trip to Belgium, Germany and France. Both our solos need new tyres - three wheels down, one to go!

Probably around 3500 miles. Not enough. I farm and ranch so summers are a little busy with making hay and taking care of crops. Did make a run to Sturgis this year. First time I have gone since 1992. My wife was bugging me to go. I said alright. I'll take her cause I was sure she would hate it. Wrong, she loved it. Now we have to go more.

Was planning a late trip to Glacier Park but with all the fires that didn't go through. Hope to make it there next year. Bike is tucked in the heated garage and is scheduled for a complete once over this winter. Should be fun.

30,031. Bought the bike in January of this year, new, with 10 miles on the odometer. Brought it home February 11th, and put it in storage yesterday (snowed over night). One three day trip into Wisconsin. One five day trip to the Black Hills. 15 Friday Ridedays (aka: vacation days). Tons of other day trips of 300-500 miles. It was a great season.

Without pulling out the paperwork and getting very specific I think I did around 8,000 this year. Wich is up from the last two years but short of my usual year. Used to comute 32 miles each way from march till November. At this point I've got a mile and change each way. Not even worth pulling it out of the garage and gearing up for a 3 minute ride each morning. Did a few 3-400 mile rides out to meet up with the race crew for a weekend then the return trip. So that added a good amount to my total.

Not sure what I put on the Ultra before I traded her off.
Normal riding and 2500 plus trip to see my father, kids & grand kids...
The new bike has about 1800 on her since late august (just local).
Trying to get her set up before next summer.
