One of my most favorite rides is RT 8 through the Adirondacks and down into Sabbath Bay.

 

Sadly, only about 200 miles this calendar year. And, I retired last April! I hope to rectify that soon, the wrist seems much better. This may be Colorado, but you can usually get a ride in almost every week, with the possible exception of January.

I started riding again four years ago, and put 13,000 miles on the 99 Heritage the first two years, and never went further than 120 miles from home. I hope to replicate that starting in early spring.

 

Been that route many times. My favorite is to go up Rt. 30A/30 up to Saranac Lake, then over 86 through the Wilmington Notch, over to Rt. 9, up to Rouses Point, then over to Vermont and down through the Lake Champlain islands.

 

About 5000 so far. Couple more toy runs and weekend rides oughta get me close to 5500. Gotta love living and riding all year in the South.

 

The year is not over , but as of today I got a little over 14K on both bikes combined

 

Will end up being a bit over 10K and never more than 60 miles from home. Work and home, and to the shop to get a beer from time to time.

 

I got just a hair over 10k this year. I did a LOT of day trips, to NH, ME, etc. I also rode a lot for the HD tour card this year (that was a little over 2k alone), which was a dealership contest here in New England where you visit a bunch of dealers, they sign off, and you are entered to win a 2018 Road Glide. Last year only a couple hundred entered. So, my chances are good this year

 

When I totalled my 17 Limited in October it had over 17,000, and I have put over 2,000 miles on my 11 Limited with side hack so far

 

Just over 75oo didnt do any big trips the elg is my main transportation
