Interesting. On my 94, the seat does not mount to the green holes shown above. The only screw for the seat goes into a hole where 0maha has a yellow circle. The handles arent mounted there on mine. I dont have the bike with me, but i can take some photos next week when I do.

I own the very same model and have converted move to let's say a 93.5 road king. You have the 3 choices. On my bike I can run any seat from the original all the way up to 07. Now you can take that back tab of you don't want to keep the stock luggage rack and bend it down and put a quick fastener in the fender. You bend the tab down on newer seats and most work and you can cut a slot in the frame and run some seats that way. I have 3 seats for my bike, a factory style mustang seat that I bet the rear tab down because I have a newer style rear, I have a lepera from an 05 touring that I just bevy the tab up and contour the bottom a little and a sundowner that came off an 03 that works well in the slot I cut in the frame.
