Hi All,
I've a '91 Heritage Softail and would like to add saddlebag guards to it. I've read all evo-era softail frames (thus saddlebag guards except, perhaps the springer) are the same, correct?

I'm not seeing many of those out there for sale and remember reading something about 2000+ softail saddlebag guards fitting evo-era softails if the mounting holes on the guards are drilled out a bit bigger. Anybody know for sure?

I'll continue my search for a set for sale and will report back my results if I buy a newer set to try on my '91 Heritage.

 

Let us know how it turns out. Wouldn't mind being able to put a set on my bike.
