Default Fxr 113 super G or mikuni

I have a hsr 45 Mik that needs a rebuild but was dyno tuned with the bike just been sitting. I have a Brand New R1 Ultima super g carb but the jetting is for a fully modded 127ci. Should I just rebuild the Mik or figure out jets in the super G?

Nothing difficult about reworking the Mikuni & it's already tuned for the motor.

Yup, little sense in making extra work. My S&S engine came with a G and its just great, but swapping over if the Mikuni is properly tuned seems unnecessary.

The Mikuni is already dialed in, and rebuilding it is a snap. Get a rebuild kit on Amazon or eBay, download the manual from the Mikuni website, and have at it.

Either will work, set up correctly.
An S&S G, would allow the install of a third fuel circuit, ie Thunderjet, and a 1" spacer block can add additional torque if/when dyno tuned.

My Mikuni worked great for 2 decades, until the gov't mandated gasoline with an oxygenate. The ethanol ruined my jet needles many times. I'll post a pic of the tip erosion on one when I get back in town.
