Default Ultima 120" motor in my 1995 FLHTC failed

Installed an Ultima120" El Bruto Evo style engine in my 1995 FLHTC engine is less than two years old and at less than 6K miles the motor lost oil pressure and locked up. Not real happy right now . Sent engine in to Ultima in Mo. and awaiting their analysis. Ironically I had a RevTech 100" 4x4 before the Ultima and had over 60K miles with hardly even a lick of trouble , and the RevTech's were sopposed to be the "junk " motor ? huh ? I will keep you guys posted as to what Ultima does right now.

Ya, my Ultima which is a 130 now after 2 cylinder bores didn't make it in the beginning. Major problems, front rod bearing took a crap, dropped a valve seat at idle next and problems happened out of warranty. The heads where ported and flowed in the beginning by a engine builder that knows the main guy at Ultima, he gave me his contact number and said Mike Garrison will be interested in the problems and tell him who did the work. Ultima sent me 2 new heads plus a gasket kit.

I put a new crank in it earlier checking everything, installed the new heads with a mild street port cleanup with no compression bump. S&S oil pump although Ultima copied it to perfection, S&S cam, S&S lifters, all new bearings again. Finishing up it's 3rd season and run it hard, have a lot of fun with twinkie buddies when they run out of power over 100 mph.
