If all test worked out well on the fxr, I would do that trade.

Still sounds like you will sink a ton of money in the FXr. Budd just sold a perfect jewel fxr for 4,500. That 113 prolly been pounded on in 18 yrs. If it was a newer 113 yes but I wouldn't trade a problem free tc for it.

Don't think its S&S, no markings and looks different. They said something about Power House ??

It's a S&S motor that was assembled by Bruce at Horsepower Express. That's a $1500 Ceriani front end on that FXR.

Bike has 19k work on receipts in 1999 it had 15500 so the motor has 3500 . I guess you could beat it but..... The guy paid $$ to have the s@s logo removed from cases and heads strange but I guess he wanted a sleeper. If you look closely on the head you can see were it was

Brad, you need to use the "Quote" button. Will make your replies easier to follow.

I'm still of the opinion that, assuming the bike passes a basic mechanical inspection, you would be getting the WAY WAY better end of the deal in an even trade. So much so that I am a little suspicious of why the owner would do it.

But, whatever. I'm sure he has his reasons. Maybe he's just bored.

As others have said, you will probably take a step backwards on reliability, which doesn't mean the FXR will be a constant headache. Just means it will probably need more care and feeding over time than your Dyna.

I wondered what that button was for. Thanks for the heads up
