Default Straight from the factory

Putting s and s lifters in my Fxr, when I took front block off gasket is covering half of oil passage, dang!!!

Mine was the same, although it's years since I last looked into it. It got your bike this far without mishap!

The only good thing about that would be the possibility of a little more oil to the crank..... Not a bad thing.....

There's a situation where alignment pins would not have let that happen.....

I opened up the hole on my new gasket because they just didn't line up perfectly

I bought the pins, the back cylinder was allined,

I placed gasket on then screwed the four bolts in without the block and gasket wouldn't move around enough to have a wide open hole,so I opened it up.
Same goes for the block.

I used a hole punch to "fix" my gaskets. Worked great for the following 100,000+ miles, until I sold it.

Mine seem to line up with your test,I don't know why on gasket is up and one down. Cleaning blocks now, gonna make sure I have the gasket right. Thanks for the input.
