That there is probably the most reliable hi performance build for an Evo........

I would do the S&S over the Mik...

I wanted to post a quick follow up. We had RC Cycle's dyno tune the FXR today, the ignition timing seemed to be off a bit.

Numbers are about what we expected for a baby EV13 cam and Supertrapp 2-1 exhaust.

I went with a Revolution Performance 85” kit and had them port my heads along with a Tman 590 cam, I’m very happy with it

Yea this is a great tweak. Pretty close to my old 80" build and it pulled strong.

EV13 is a good real world cam but something doesn't look right in the quote so made the correction. My Twinkie doesn't have the same kind of power as my Evo, Ahhhhhh I feel better now.

I'm glad you came back to post.... Those are great numbers and I'm sure the passing power has increased immensely... The roll on is nice, isn't it....

My pleasure....like everyone else, we all want some sort of closure on a topic like this.

68hp and 79ft lbs is actually more than I expected from the 20K mile 1992 Evo.

Unfortunately, we don't have 'before' dyno numbers, but stock Evos make around 10hp and 10 ft lbs less ?

Bike feels great, post-dyno the throttle response quite snappy with the EV13 bagger cam and most importantly, the owner of the bike, my brother, is happy with the money invested. That Supertrapp exhaust is also much, much quieter than the old drag style duals.

I'm planning on having my Road King dyno tuned soon as well, I was very impressed with Bob @ RC Cycles. With his 30 years experience, I shouldn't have been surprised. Great guy.

I used to think so too. Do you really think HD has the tolerence control to use non adjustable push rods? I still prefer them.....JMHO
