Default Will 93 later bags fit 90 EG

Evo bagger guys, like header says tried finding a right side bag lid for a neighbor who lost his right side bag lid off his 90 E.G. They seem to be non existent. 1993 and later are all over the place. Do they interchange? Thanks G.

Good question. I'm sure the battery indentation is only in the bag itself. Sorry I'm not a help but I do like the question.

I have both sets of bags and the answer is no, unfortunately the lids do not interchange. Although they look similar, the older bag will actually fit inside the new one, which is that little bit longer and wider.

The '90 still has the old style "latch in the back, hook in the front, whole thing comes off" style lid. '93+ have the hinge style lid.

The '93+ lid has an indentation along the outside edge where the latch goes and which aligns to a corresponding indentation on the bag. I think at best the later model lid would serve as a foundation for a fair amount of fiberglass work to make it fit an earlier model bag.

Wink

After a quick check, pre-'93 bag lid is 22 1/4" long, post-'93 is 23 3/4" long, later lid is 1/4" wider.

I should have been a little clearer with question.
Will the whole 93 and later bags bolt up to the frame mounts? Thanks

I believe you have to use the later mount too...or at least do some drilling...and you have to move the battery.
