For clear plastic, I use Meguiar's Clear Plastic/Polish. Very similar to the stuff we used on aircraft (military & civilian). It's safe and won't cause problems. Then again, we also used a 60/40 mix of water/methanol to wash our aircraft windows...

Considering the partying I was doing during the previous week, it could have been just about anything.

But it was definitely the love bugs. Nasty, gooey, disgusting, bug guts....

Lovebug guts will eat paint. I learned that the hard way. Now, I wash the dam things off daily, don't let them sit, it will fudge up your paint in no time. They are very acidic..

Wet a fabric dyer sheet then just lightly wipe the bugs off. Works great Fast and Easy. I put them in my saddle bags when traveling keeps stuff smelling fresh.

Put the dryer sheet in a spray bottle filled half way with water. Shake some then spray on the bugs. Wait a couple minutes and blast them off with a hose. Wipe the rest off with a microfiber.
