brake swap question...I'm confused or over thinking it
Hi.....I'm wanting to swap a switchback wheel onto my 99 fatboy...I got the wheel an rotor at a good price BUT I noticed it has the 11.8 floating rotor. I have the adapter bracket on my stock front end and a 4 piston HD caliper from an 05 electra glide. Will I need another adapter or can I get a brembo caliper an bolt it to my adapter plate an the caliper an rotor line up? When I had my Electra glide I put a Enforcer wheel off a '14 street glide with the floating rotor an I put the brembo's on the front end without any type of adapter. So I'm thinking the Brembo mounting is set up for the 11.8 an the adapter I have will work. Or I have to make a new adapter to use the 4 piston on the 11.8 rotor. Or I can sell the wheel an start over with a new idea!

Hey Prot...I was thinking people like me with older single disk front ends buy the lefts for retro fit projects an the rights just sit on ebay but you're probably right. I think 21 looks good on most bikes, a 23 is ok for large bikes sometimes, depends on the overall look. don't like the 26's.
