im changing the tires on my 88 fxr. They are the original tires. I noticed there is a stamp on them with 3 sets of numbers. The last one is 91.
Why I ask is, the tank which as far as I know is original is a 91 tank with 91 emblems.
My title has it listed as a 88! If the tire is a 91 and the tank is a 91 something is screwy. Just trying to make heads or tails on this

Not as the original tires but they could have been installed at the first tire change.

huh...turns out its a 1988 fxrs low rider...title only states fxr...
on the flip side though...I bought the bike with just under 3000 miles...why the heck would it have a new tank? ill never know! lol.....
with the tires, looking like 91's...and oem tires, I wonder if the past owner liked the new tank better and freaking changed it at its first service!...
