I'll do that. Put the drain plug in today, so I'm going to fill the trans later on. Won't know until I get some oil in there, but I hope it doesn't seep any more.

Put 22oz of gear lube in and let it sit for half a day. No seepage. But I haven't started the bike yet. Hylomar seems to be doing the job.

Been using Hylomar on problematic shovelhead leaks for 20 plus years, you cannot get a better product, only thing that will seal intake leaks on one. You should be good to go if the case didn't get a hairline crack on that boss.

Yeah, I'm concerned about how the case might be compromised, but so far, no unusual leaks. A bigger concern is whether or not there is debris inside that hasn't flushed out with the two oil changes.

I guess I'll know if I hear a gut retching noise while riding...
