Normally I wouldn't ask a question that I know how to get the answer. Work was crazy this week and I never made it home to measure my cable length, and today is the last day I have to order them so I can install them on Saturday. Anyone have any idea on clutch cable length for 16 bars? It is a 4 speed trans so I'm not sure if any info I was getting online of the newer models was going to be accurate. Thanks

 

When I put 16"s on my bikes I had to go 4" over stock on the cables.

I've never bought longer (or shorter) cables, but I have learned over the decades that there is no substitute for measuring your own bike - to get things as you want them! Belt length when changing rear gearing is the latest experience I've bumped into......

 

Who manufactured your apes? When my kid put 16" Carlini's on his Heritage he called their tech line and spoke to them regarding proper over size cable length. I had time on my side and as grbrown stated, measure your own.
