Mid Pegs or Forward Floorboards for EVO FXSTC
I went on a 200 mile ride and the last 1/4 of the ride it was very uncomfortable with the forward controls and pegs. Even with stirrups it was a pain. I felt like I ran a marathon after.
I want to get either mid pegs to alter position or possibly floorboards to replace the pegs to give me more positions there.
Has anyone had similar discomfort on a long ride with the forwards and what do you recommend? There don't seem to be many mid peg options for the EVO Softail - I don't see any place to mount a bracket though I see that others with Twin Cams have said there are mounting holes for them.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks . I was at the dealer today and those bikes with floorboards had just enough range for me. Any suggestions on how to start? I could either go with some Chinese kit like DS Specialties (not preferred) or hopefully source some OEM parts. Would I need new linkages or anything on the bike if I go with OEM or can I use the shifter/brake hardware already there?
If anyone has any parts laying around, I'm all ears!

Floorboards n pegs
My flstf has the standard floorboards and they suit me Just fine. Ditched the highwaypegs a while ago cause of bugs kept getting trapped up my trousers.
when on long rides I tend to use the passenger pegs too. Try it...May look funy but shure is comfortable!
If you're looking for used parts, Just talk to some indies, mine (Belgium) has several lying around.
A workshop manual like Clymers Will get you thru installation.
you could also consider doing some exercises to strengthen your legmuscles...
