Default Is there a good choice Other than a air horn?

Would appreciate suggestions on an electric horn that doesn't sound to much like a clown car.

I have done the Stebel, Wolo, Full blown trumpets and none have lasted more than a couple years.
I have 2 Stebel electric horns on the EVO and after about 2 yrs a couple of amenic chickens could fart louder than these horns. I had thought Ok we got a connection problem or wiring. No high resistance in the circuits, connections are clean and tight. Battery voltage at the + connections. swapped relays cause I had an extra.

Tried a pickup horn which is to big to fit much of anywhere and it is plenty loud.

Need some idea's or thoughts

Thanks WP

I see you're not looking for an air horn however I've been running a Denali air horn for about a year now since my Wolo quit after 3 months. They seem like a better build, so far so good. They are a little louder than the Wolo.

Denali is one I haven't had. Thanks for the recommendation.

I had 2 Wolo's and neither one made it 6 months.

Thanks WP

Nothing beats loud pipes.......

They hear you before they see you, so you don't even need the horn to begin with....

Not sure a horn does much good. Just last night I had a car almost turn in front of me at an intersection. He was obviously looking right at my daymakers. There's no doubt he saw me coming and misjudged my speed. I was in the process of taking evasive action when h hit the brakes and gave me my right of way. My clown car horn would've done no good even if I had time to use it, which I didn't.

I've had my Minibeast horn for about 4 years now.
Still works.

My stock horn works.....I know it does because I check it whenever I do my morning pre-trip.
I have never used the horn on any of my bikes in traffic though.....Not even once.

I don't either but I have used it to scare buzzards off the side of the road before I get there.
