The more you lengthen your kick stand the more you need a flat place to park it.
Even little bumps in the ground can be a problem if you lengthen the kick stand too much.
When I lowered my Heritage it effectively lengthened my kick stand and I have noticed the above when I go to park it.

Well I waited until 8:20am and checked the stock JS to the -1", the differences are the bends the length is the same. I'm not sure on the degree of the angles, and have no way (or desire) to find out. Sorry.
Maybe someone who's a little more **** could check this out for you. But you'll need your own protractor to verify it.

I been wrong before, but in the old days it was not recommended to sit on bike while it is on Jiffy stand. The thing wasn't intended for that ... too much leverage. The Bend will increase and /or the thing will break...seen lots of both. I jump on, then My Bitter Half steps up unto passenger peg and steps over and On... Been working Great since the Mid 80's... ain't gonna change Now...
