D&D 408-12T on '90 Ultra
I have read many times that I can cut off the flange on my exhaust and run newer slip ons. I have a D&D exhaust on the wife's Blast and love the low and mid range improvements and saw they also have slip ons for the newer FLH/FLT models , the Big Boss slip ons ( 408-12T). Does anyone have any experience with these?
Dennis Kirk had some Drag Specs Boomcan slip ons for $88.00 so I ordered them, but doubt I will like the looks on the bike - but figured will give me an opportunity to try something different and maybe check out the baffles in my current setup to see if I can find replacements that sound a little better without giving up too much, if any low end. If the D&Ds work as good as the D&D exhaust on the Blast, I will be happy with the performance.
thanks in advance
