Handlebar options advice ideas?
Hey folks
My 1996 fatboy has black drag bars with zero rise that are on black risers. I am 6'1 and always find my arms are pointed down.
I am looking for about 2-3 inch rise in the bars and maybe 2 inch less pull back . I think this will give a neutral arms position with elbows bent.
Ideally I don't want to remove the risers. But I will if I have to.
What handle bar would you recommend?
If I get an oem fatboy bar and put on these riders will it work?
Here is my current set up

keep in mind your cables an brake line may be too short, your wiring for the switches too if you replace the bars. Look at those to see if there's some slack you can pull out or reroute them to get some room. those higher risers may look out of place with ape hanger style bars. the stock bars come back to you some an go up some. I'm short with a 34" shirt sleeve length an they work well for me but probably not for you. I like the look of the biltwell Frisco bars, looks like you can rotate them to bring them back or away from you to fit, an they'd look good with your risers:
