Default Speedometer moves when revving in neutral

When trying to diagnose a check engine light and occasional stalling I noticed my Speedometer moves a little (about to 5 mph) when revving in neutral ... Wondering if this is a spore sensor issue or could have something to do with my cel ?
Thanks for any help

Sounds like a grounding issue. Check your grounding leads for any loose or corroded connections.

It would help to tell us what model year your bike is. Earlier bikes had a cable drive speedo, later ones are electronic. As Crashone suggests, start by checking the electrical connections, if you have an electronic speedo.

The battery positive was loose , but I went through and sprayed electrical cleaner on both +&- terminals , disconnected any wiring plugs , relays etc and cleaned them , then dielectric grease and tightened everything up .. Only took about 20-30 minutes
