Just wondering...
Because I didn't want to buy someone else' creation. I wanted the cleanest base to start from so that I could build it exactly how I wanted without having to replace parts I wasn't fond of, or having to live with the way it came. I know too many guys that have bought FXRs just to jack them up and wheelie the **** out of them, dropping them and destroying them along the way. Now, I'm all about a good wheelie from time to time, but thats what I have a crotch rocket for. Those were meant to crash and slide, and replacement parts for jap bikes are relatively cheap compared to Harleys. I wanted something that I could enjoy riding, and not constantly have to work on. Believe me, the bike is still in pristine condition.

Well then she's a keeper. No way my wife would let me put my bike in a house that nice. Course I live in the middle of no where and my bike is always dirty.

Two things:
Great work area!
I would have bought a worked over one to start. Cheaper that way.
