Ok so what else will i need besides the cam, lifters, rods, and torrington inner cam bearing?

Depending on end play you might need some shims.

Here is my parts list. I went with fresh rings since the cylinders had minor scarring.

I had some adjustables in my bike and the damn lock nut came loose.
I pulled them back out and reinstalled solids when I rebuilt my motor.

Unless you are going with a radical cam there is no need for adjustables.

BTW I think you would like an EV 13 better in that big of a bike.
It's got more torque at the low end to get all that mass moving.


Listen to this man....it will save me going on a rant about adjustable pushrods...

Having owned my shovel for 38 yrs this September, adjustable pushrods have always been the least of my worries. If you're not strong enough to tighten up the locknut on the pushrod, maybe you should be paying someone to do this for you?
