Default 1990 Electra glide parts

Can anyone explain to me what the difference is between a 90 and 91 electra glide as far as parts goes. I see aftermarket parts listed but they start at 91 and up is there something different I'm not seeing on them most of the parts are identical to my 1990 electra glide. If there is a thread already addressing this issue I can't find it, I've seen parts that I would buy but won't pull the trigger on them but am afraid of getting something that won't fit. Any information would be appreciated.

Asking a wide open question like that isn't on old chap! If you want to check the two model years in detail you can start with an on-line parts website. If you have a specific thing in mind then tell us what it is, when we can be more helpful.

The online parts microfiche that I have found only go back to 91 on the FLHTC's. If anyone knows of one that goes back further, I would appreciate a link to it.

St Charles, Granite State, and Outpost Alaska all seem to have the same OEM parts finder that go back to 1941 for some models.

Outpost Alaska also has some parts info for Honda, Polaris, & Victory.

Ronnie's uses a different parts finder that goes back to 1979.

I'm sure that there are more dealer websites with part finders but I don't have links saved for them.

I'm referring to console fuel lids, turn signal bars , tail lights etc. They start at 91 and up.

You can compare some of those parts with your Fatboy? As for the console there were subtle changes including a change from a flat key to a barrel key type lock on the door. The entire console should swap over. The rear light bar is unchanged, only the chrome light housing is.
