Sorry - I couldn't help myself.

I've had to completely disassemble and clean calipers & pistons before, because they were binding. Lube like Unk said.

EBC work for me..
That was good !!

Are your rotors OEM or aftermarket?
I've heard of some aftermarket market rotors squealing no matter what you did to them.
I'm guessing that it has something to do with the steel used to make them.

Im guessing aftermarket since the only thing stamped on them is the minimum thickness. They never squeaked until a couple of weeks ago though.

Looking at pictures online of Part#44136-92, maybe my rotors are OEM. They look the same.

Did they just start squeaking out of the blue or did you change something first?

Yep. I'm thinkin' that something very basic has been overlooked. Double check rattle clips and cotter pins etc. to be sure that they're in the appropriate place too.

Well, I feel confident that everything is together as it should be. Ive had these pads off 4 times in the past few days and everything looks fine. Really pretty simple. The anti rattle clips look good. I dont know where that cotter pin is. I never saw one on either caliper. The only thing I can think of that was done in the past couple of weeks is that I cleaned the wheels with a mild acid called Cycle Care Newspoke Spoke Cleaner which does a hell of a job of the wheels. Maybe it cleaned the rotors a little too good? Thats all I can think of. Hopefully, the new pads will take care of the noise.
