Default Brand New 1995 FXSTB Bad Boy

I'm not a huge fan of springer's but the bad boy has caught my eye in recent years. I just so happened to stumble across this one on ebay. Question is, would you actually ride it??????

I would ride it but the price is ten thousand dollars too high.

If the story is true, and the bike really has 2 miles on it, he could get a premium price for it...Badboys are highly sought after, and usually sell for more than any other FX evo softail. BUT if he thinks he will sell it at all without starting it, he's crazy...the motor could easily be locked up from sitting for 21 years if it was not stored properly.

Bad boys get big $$$ around here. HE is going to have that a long time, I don,t know of anyone that would but something without hearing it run.

On a 21 year old bike that has never been ridden be prepared to replace all the rubber parts on it.
It's a safe bet that every one of them has dry rotted and cracked.

This is something you would see at Barrett-Jackson. What do you do with it? If you were willing to pay the premium for the 1.9 miles, you can't ride it. That is what you paid for right, no miles on the odometer so riding it would be dumb, maybe. On the flip side you could probably find the same bike with under 10k miles and pay around $10k with no guilt for riding it. And I agree she will have issues if you decide to ride it, motors are not made to not be run.

If you own a museum or dealership with a display area, maybe it is cool. But I think she needs to sit around for another 20 years before she is cool enough for that price. Not like we have never seen a Bad Boy before. My opinion, guy should have ridden the bike and enjoyed it.

The not starting it bit wouldn't bother me at all, but he's probably 30 years away from it being desirable as some sort of museum piece.

Needs to be in Chicago in June maybe. Perhaps someone will fall in love with the story.

Sure you could.
Just buy an aftermarket speedo and install it for your rides and put the original one back on when you want to show it off!!!
