Default What do you guys think of this bike?

I've put a deposit down of this here Electra glide, 1989 with 28k on the clock loads of history low owners and plenty of accessories. I've never owned an evo and don't know much about them. Could you guys give me some pointers as what to look for when I view her please?

After viewing I purchased her! She rode just over 100 miles home in freezing condition without fault. Needs a slight tune up and service but all in all I'm very pleased with her.

First thing I can tell you is that isn't an '89.
Hell that isn't an EVO motor!!!!!

Did the PO stick a Pan Head motor into an EVO frame?

As far as I'm aware the motor has aftermarket covers on it to dress it up as a pan, think the po was going for a duo glide look.

Defiantly an EVO with XZOTIC covers on it... looks like an 89 to me...fairing and hardbags removed...roadking gas tank

That is one nice looking ride. Pan rocker box covers and some kind of chrome trim over the nose cone to make it look like a pan lower. Fender light, studs, fishtails, and what appear to be leather covered hard bags. If it runs like it looks, I love it.

I like it! Gives off a much older vibe. Love those pan head valves covers!

Looks nice!! I would scan through maintenance records. Check for cam and bearing upgrade, ask about original bags etc.
