What Cam do you have in your Evo..?

Just because you have a different opinion does not mean you are the informed one...
Some of us of us who use solid pushrods know how to measure the length and figure out if the length is ok.
I`m not uninformed or cheap. I tried adjustable pushrods, but had two of them come loose, one time was uneventful, the other time it cost me a lifter.

No call to be insulting.

I appreciate the help, I have a few things I'd like to work on. Btw, I've got a cousin that lives in Houma, like the saying, small world.

I say Mea Culpa...I was charged up after reading a response to another post, and insulted by a name calling heathen. This forum is awfully quick to name calling people. I regret falling into that.
I have never had problems with pushrods coming loose. I like the fact that you don't have to take apart the rocker boxes. For me that is of great benefit. They are also lighter if you purchase the titanium ones. This is key with using stock springs. More travel, less weight, higher RPMs, less float. Or so I have been told...
The great part is...You did it yourself!
Can anybody give me a reason why Harley MoCo. doesn't put a better cam in from the factory? It cant be money...One grind doesn't cost more than another. It cant be fuel standards. Maybe emissions?
Lets hear it...And please be Civil

EV-23, recently had it done, and i am satisfied with the results. Had the bike at an indy to redo the rocker box gaskets. I did not have the time to do it. So, while the to was off I asked him to replace the cam with the 23. He also changed the bearing with a torrington, and properly space the cam. He did reuse the stock push rods, not to be cheap, but because they worked. Bike is perky, I am happy.

The crappy cam was an effort by HD to comply with EPA regs.
Who here (in EVO land) hasn't been civil to you????
BTW you forgot the main (only IMO) reason to go with adjustable pushrods.
When you have a seriously hi-lift cam you need them.
