Hard wire ignition module or sell?

Hard wire ignition module or sell?
As often happens I pulled the trigger on a perceived good deal before fully researching. I bought a dynatek ignition module with a super coil for $140. Problem is I bought a module with the 8 pin harness assuming I could just get the 8 pin to 7 pin adapter. It turns out I do not even have the seven pin plug. Donated makes a harness that will make it 7 pin for $75. I would still need the adapter ($40). Is it possible to hardwire the module straight in like the stock module or should I sell it back on eBay and try to start buying proper parts.

You don't have a 7 pin or an 8 pin harness????
Is that correct?
Did someone put a custom harness on your bike??
If you don't have a plug for the ignition module I would get one that fits in the cam chest and go from there.

Stop ***** footing around and just cut the connectors off and hard wire it using a terminal strip (or solder if your so inclined)

Here is how things now look on my FXR - It looks worse than it is as the loom also supports a laptop connection, Tacho, Pressure/Temp sensors and a Wideband O2 system.

No 7 pin or 8 pin harness on mine, just wires from the module running to the lower part of the gram and ending in a round connector that I have not come across in any ignition module offerings.

The schematic is in the installation instructions for the module, just look on the Dynatek website. http://dynaonline.com/support/downlo...NA%202000%20HD
I have seen 7 and 8 pin harnesses for sale. The connector will let you swap modules easily for troubleshooting or tuning.
If the part number of your new module has a P at the end it is PC programmable with Curvemaker software and one of these: https://sites.google.com/site/vrusb2000i/
