Used on the floor. Very sturdy I also use a drive in wheel chock to hold bike upright by itself, then I strap the front down to that. Then slip in this jack and raise it. Wish I did have a lift as my back does not like working at ground level anymore. That will happen next year tho, or maybe over the winter. Here are some copies of the pics in that link.
