Default Primary leak?

I have the all ***** upgraded bearing which is wider and I'm not sure now if the seal is the same as OEM or different. What would cause this any idea? The bearing and the main shaft have no marks to match those on the seal. I just want to make sure when I get it back together this isn't happening again

Edit. Found the pic I took when I got the bearing. Instructions were worthless for the seal

Default Primary leak?

Think I got it nailed. Drag specialties sells the all ***** relabeled under their name. After a few hundred google searches I found this instruction sheet. I clearly installed the oil seal backwards. The all ***** sheet didn't specify. I guess I should have known or asked before installing. I needed to get that mid shift shaft out anyways but wasn't ready yet should be leak free in a few days

[QUOTE=kp877;14388887] After a few hundred google searches I found this instruction sheet.

I've spent more time searching info than it took to do the repair
I'm betting you could say the same.

Glad ya got it under control

Sure did. I called 5 local parts stores nothing. Ordered the seal should have it mid week. I think my bike hates me. There's no other explanation for the amount of things that have gone wrong.

Default Primary leak?

Question. Manual says lay a bead of silicone around the two bottom bolt holes on inner primary. Which bolts holes and does this mean the head or threads? Any ideas?

They are talking about the mounting bolts for the chain adjuster.
Are you sure it says around instead of in the bolt holes?

Its the two lowest bolts that hold the inner primary to the tranny etc, put silicone on the faces where they meet the motor, that is the outside of the inner primary, the bit that gets dirty. It stops oil leaking out the back of the inner primary as those bolt holes are sitting in the oil or very near to it when the bike is upright.

Here's the manual. I see the two bottom inside the primary just wasn't sure where I want the sealant. I don't think it would hurt to put some on the mating surface and under the bolt head?

Still waiting on one seal to reassemble and on store 5 trying to find 3/16" freeze plugs to seal up the shift shaft hole
