Oil change question

I knew a guy that did that, WP. He got T-boned, which broke the primary, but not him too bad. The bike still ran, but leaked primary oil. He got insurance money from whoever hit him to fix the bike, but he blew that on drugs, I think. He just kept riding the bike, and got real happy when it finally stopped leaking oil. Briefly. Then he needed a whole new primary everything instead of just an inner and/or outer primary case.

Assuming your question is serious, 'when' is answered in your service manual, at mileages depending on which reservoir you are changing. Full synthetic? Don't bother on an old engine, use real dyno oil, like it has always had. Synth will likely make your engine noisier at best. I only use synth in my S&S engine because they recommend it.
