Default What do I need to know about new throttle/brake/clutch cables?

Hi all, I'm about to add at least 4 inches to the risers on my 91 FXR and I think I'll have to get some new cables to accommodate. I _might_ get away with keeping my existing clutch cable but it may be tight.

So, before I go bleeding cash, I was hoping you could bring me up to speed with regards to what to look for, look out for, where to (or not) buy, etc.

In particular, are all products created the same? (I think not) Dealer parts? What are the ins and outs?

I don't have a throttle return cable so I'll probably go ahead and add one too.

Thanks, and cheers.

Correction, I think I can get another 4 inches out of my brake line. Clutch, no.

Call the Barnett boys and tell them what bike you have and how many inches you are adding. They will take care of the rest.
