Default Best way to tighten manifold

Hi guys, anyone have any tips on making tightening the intake manifold a little easier on the horn side?

Short allen wrenches, the ball end allen wrenches, cut off pieces of allen wrenches.

all of the above and a garbage disposal allen wrench. Get a set of these for next time:

The 12 point bolts can also be found in some of your better hardware stores (not home depot). YD

The interchangeable tips for screwdrivers are usually 1/4" hex. You can use a tip and a 1/4" open end / box end combination wrench.

Garbage disposal wrench? I may have one of those already laying around. They are the same size?

Change them to regular hex head or 12pt bolts and use a wrench. That's what I did on my 98 ultra

Yep! And the bend is more gradual so with that and a regular allen wrench, along with the other suggestions mentioned here, you should be good! YD

Man. Ya'll should try working on a Lotus some time. Intake manifold bolts on an Evo are like changing spark plugs compared to anything on an Esprit or Elise. There, the rule is: If you can see it, you can't touch it. If you can touch it, you can't see it.

The 12 point bolts above work great on the right carb side. On the left horn side I used hex head bolts.
