Sounds to me like you have a piece of crap stuck in your slow jet. Might as well pull the carb, remove the jets and clean everything out.

 

Took a little break from trying to figure this out,so far I have changed the ignition coil,changed the main jet and cleaned the slow jet, changed the spark plugs, cleaned the inside of the tank and the carb. I also put on a different carb just for grins, none of these have helped. Tried to start it up yesterday after changing the jet and it wouldn't start even with the choke. Would it be possible that something like this could be related to an intake leak? Or potentially air/fuel mixture being off?

 

When I had bad running/idle problems I assumed it was the carb/fuel. Turned out to be a bad pickup wire in the nosecone. It caused problems with the ECM too.
