I'm getting this carbon on my plug wire but, can't find out where it is coming from. Anyone ever seen this? I'm befuddled....

Your spark plug has a compression leal between the insulator and metal.

I thought that also. Switched plugs from front to back. Front one now has NO carbon, the one that was in the front, well, you can see it.

If that is the case, why would it leak in the rear cylinder but, when I put it in the front cylinder, no leak????

So is the rear cylinder still leaking with the other plug in it?

Very confusing on what is leaking. Sounds like the front one originally was leaking so you moved it to the rear and its still leaking in the rear and the front is not leaking anymore. That would mean it's the plug.

Ok, let me try to clarify. The pic is of the rear cylinder. After looking things over, I couldn't find where the carbon is coming from. I, like you thought it was coming from the spark plug. To be sure, after cleaning up the plug, I swapped the plugs, rear to the front, front to the rear. The plug that was in the rear and now in the front remains clean. The plug that was in the front (and clean) is now in the rear and appears to be leaking now.
