The Sound of Sucking

The Sound of Sucking
Maybe this is nothing but the bike sounds off to me. I have only had it a few months prior to the head gasket going but it's been a month since it's been fired up. I do not think it was running very well prior to the gasket going. I went from an 84 honda sabre 700 to the 94 FLHTC so I really did not know what to expect.
I finished the job today and fired it up and it sounds like it gas a vacuum leak.
The top end rebuild included performance and rebuild kits from CV Performance, .020 over with new pistons and rings. I only seem to hear it at idle as it either goes away or the exhaust is too loud to hear it.
It was 48 degrees today so I was not chomping at the bit to go ride today. I still need to finish adjusting the carb tomorrow before I take it out.
Any thoughts on what to look for or is this just normal?

Check VOE's is connected and not leaking.
Check intake manifold gaskets are not leaking.
Moving cameria to fast, but check crankcase breather hoses to make sure connected correctly.(or my brain moving to slow :-)
AN EDUCATION: Remember that in the HD engine BOTH pistons move up and down together. Therefore the crankcase has to suck and expel 80cu in of air just as the the power side of the pistons do. So a 'sucking' sound could be coming from either side.
