Default turn Signals Lit But Not Blinking..

Well, this is getting very annoying! After much troubleshooting I have found that the black ground wire at the Turn Signal Module isn't grounding.

I don't know where the loose or broken end is as the wire disappears into a large bundle of wires that goes to the right side, side-cover area. The ground also ties into other ground wires according to the schematic.

Has any of you had this experience or know where to look next?

If you can't chase the wire look for any place the bundle of wires moves or rubs on something. You can also try chasing down a ground wire from something else in the area the bundle ends. You should be able to spot where the grounding point is. Also did any work happen on the bike if so check the area for a broken or disconnected wire.
Hope this helps

You could always cut it out and ground it separately.

It's a 1998 RK. I don't want to just add a ground to make it work. That seems like a band aid. I would rather fix the original problem.

The two groung lugs are usually under the seat.
This ground looks like it also goes to the spedo and indicator lamps.

Then you're gonna have to find the other end of the wire loom and ohm out which is that ground wire.

I wouldn't spend a minute trying to chase a broken ground inside a loom. You can never have too many grounds. Add one and ride.

The two grounds at the seat are good.
I don't know where the ground from the speedo and tach meet up with the ground from the TSM. Probably under the tanks...

Everything is working (grounded) but the turn signals.

How can I "Ohm Out" the wire if it is broken or disconnected between the two ends?
