Good luck, I just tapped the frame on my 93 Heritage to get true dual Bassani fishtails on it. I just ran into a problem tonight I am going to start a thread on, but basically the shift shaft on the 93 might be a little taller because it hits the left pipe, which means I will probable have to take the inner primary off again to rotate the shift shaft to make it fit without hitting.

having the same problem on the L-shaped shift rod. ill probably bend it and give it a shot. worst case, ill contact samson or phyton for that rod.

glad that works for you, that is a really nice bike by the way. I was thinking about a gray paint job eventually, maybe the denim gray harley made for a few years...anyway, ended bending the pipe so I can ride this weekend but Bassani is sending a new one with a sharper angle.

Never seen a derby cover like that, is that a bracket for the exhaust?

Installation is now complete. as far as the derby cover/tail light/license holder, its from Joker Machine.

I posted a question at the exhaust section but no replies, so I'm reviving this thread regarding my set-up. Anybody have experience with Big City Thunder (BCT) monster baffles and the best location for installation - in the header or in the fishtails? Anybody compared for loudness, tone, and power on the location of the BCT?

From the search, some installed their BCT on the header but I think the left side pipe doesn't have much length due to the bend and curves.
