Belt squeal anyone??

Sounds like the belt may have been wearing due to misalignment of the rear wheel or maybe the front pulley is loose. I saw that you checked the wheel alignment so that's a pretty big "maybe". Before I did anything, I would put the bike up on a stand and spin the rear wheel while watching the belt and pulleys to see if everything appears to be running in parallel.
I would also replace the pulleys if I was in there to replace the belt, needed or not, but that's just me.

Carl- I agree with ya, I was just hoping it was something as easy mis-alignment. I had it on a jack multiple times trying to figure it out, when I soap the belt I can get it to stop, so to me that narrows it down to sprockets or belt.
Now...I've got everything ordered to replace the belt. Got everything tore apart tonight awaiting the arrival of parts and finally got a chance to look over the front sprocket. It is showing some wear. The ridges are a little flattened out where the belt rides, can somebody tell me if that is normal ok wear or if I should change it to, cause I'm there. I'm leaning towards replacing it, just so I'm not in the same boat in six months.
