I have a 1996 Road King that I have lowered. I lowered the front 1" and the back 1" using Harley Davidson shocks. My question is has anyone gone further. My girlfriend is going to ride the Road King but she is 5'-2.5" and its just a little to tall. Wasn't sure if I could use the lowering brackets with the lowering shocks? Or does anyone have any other ideas other than getting a different bike or girlfriend..lol
i have an as new set of progressive 444 rears shocks that will giveu an extra 3/4 inch with what u have now. on there own I believe they
are a 1 inch drop when seated on bike
I installed a set of Arnott air shocks and a compressor on my flht.
I can flat foot it at 25 psi.
I can dump all of the air and get a really good grip on the ground to back up.
It's expensive, but it works well.
I would spend the money again.
