A little oil drip under the primary
It's not the color red that I use in the transmission. So, it must be the primary oil. Can that still be the shifter shaft seal?
Thanks for the help. It's not a bad drip, so I'm in not hurry to fix it. But I like to have an idea about these things. Bike has 34,000 miles, I expect these things.

That would be tranny fluid if it was leaking.
There are several things it could be.
Starter shaft seal, inner primary shaft seal (fits around the transmission main shaft), o-ring between the inner primary and motor, primary drain plug (I use teflon thread paste to make that seal), primary gasket, etc..
Best thing to do is to clean it off and use some aerosol foot powder on it to find the leak.

Starter shaft seal and the inner primary shaft seal.
If you are sure you are leaking primary fluid it is probably from one of those.
