Default need a stiff front motor mount

due to clearance issues with build (different motor and trans in a 90 Electra Glide), I'm looking for a stiff front motor mount. the stock one is old and had 45k miles on it.

is glide-pro the ticket? trying to limit the motor movement as much as possible.

thanks
mike

I've got a Glide Pro in my stroker; no complaints. I installed it snug, but not tight. Then took it for a 5-10 mile short easy ride with a few mild twisties so it could locate its own "home" position; then tightened it.

Can't comment on Glide-Pro, I have a True-Track front mount with my S&S 107", which is just fine, although I bought it as part of one of their kits. I hope you're replacing your rear rubber mounts as well?!

With a bigger motor the T-T rear stabilizer kit is well worth considering. At the time I had my motor installed my indy told me my bike was the best handling dresser he had ever ridden and the only one he would trust in the wet (he does live in the Welsh mountains!).

yes, all new OEM rear mount stuff in the swingarm and pivot shaft. just debating for a revised 16207-79D, or go aftermarket.

thanks
