crankcase oil drain on evo?
#11
In half a million miles I haven't had a single bike give trouble due to engine lubrication, except a troublesome stroker that used premix fuel/oil. Many of my bikes have had an oilbag, like my Evo, but it isn't even worth emptying the oil hoses between tank and engine IMHO. Relax man!

Running without an oil filter (on an Evo or Shovelhead) accomplishes the same thing as the scavenger puck does.

unless you use oil to its determined change point you never get the benifits the oil was designed for in the first place
we have raced with guys who never changed the oil all season and when possable they Bought the used oil from nitro burning race cars to add to the oil they use -
reason nitro has an oxygen agent in it and at different temps it is released into the combustion chamber Via the engine oil - royal purple has this in its oil BUT it only last so long then the power boost you get is gone
